All-New FIFA Intercontinental Cup Logo Revealed

The FIFA Intercontinental Cup is a brand-new annual club tournament that brings together the top champion clubs from all six global confederations. The event is considered the successor to the former annual FIFA Club World Cup, aiming to crown a true world club champion each year. The inaugural Intercontinental Cup was held in December 2024, with Spain's Real Madrid ultimately defeating Mexico's Pachuca 3-0 in the final to claim the first-ever title.

During the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup match between Egypt's Pyramids FC and New Zealand's Auckland City FC on September 15, FIFA quietly unveiled the new logo for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Centered around a classic and elegant gold monogram, the new emblem builds on the design aesthetic of the previous FIFA Club World Cup logo and replaces the temporary one used before.

The core of the new Intercontinental Cup logo is a circular monogram formed by the tournament's initials, "ICC" (Intercontinental Cup). The three letters are presented in a classic serif style, cleverly interwoven and merged to create a stable and elegant whole. The entire emblem features a textured gold rendering that simulates the sheen and three-dimensional quality of a metal trophy, conveying an unparalleled sense of prestige and honor. The design is completed by the words "INTERCONTINENTAL CUP" and "FIFA" in black, encircling the monogram from above and below, making for a complete and clear composition.
