Coupe de France Unveils New Logo, Kicking Off New Era with Crédit Agricole Partnership

The French Football Federation (FFF) officially unveiled the new logo for the Coupe de France on August 22, 2025, which will be used starting from the 2025-2026 season. This update celebrates a new title partnership with Crédit Agricole. The new emblem deeply integrates the historic trophy with the partner's brand identity, symbolizing steadfast support for the grassroots of French football.
Established in 1917, the Coupe de France, affectionately known as "la Vieille Dame" (the Old Lady), is one of the most legendary and beloved competitions in French football. Its unique format opens the door to clubs of all levels, allowing everyone from local amateur teams to top-tier professional giants to compete for the title. This charm, which transcends class, region, and generation, has made it one of the most popular sporting events in France. In the upcoming 2025-2026 season, 7,288 clubs will participate in the competition.

The core of the new logo design remains the iconic Coupe de France trophy, representing the competition's enduring glory and heritage. However, its form has been simplified from the previous version, eliminating gradients for a more modern and clean overall style. The other most significant change is at the base of the trophy, where designers have cleverly integrated the brand logo of title sponsor Crédit Agricole to serve as its foundation, symbolizing the bank's solid support and long-term commitment to the competition.

According to François Vasseur, the FFF's Director of Marketing and Economic Development, positioning the sponsor's logo as the trophy's "cornerstone" is a powerful symbol. It signifies Crédit Agricole's role as a long-standing and loyal "bedrock" and supporter of French football, especially at the amateur level. This design not only reflects the shared values of both parties—namely a commitment to civic duty, regional identity, and community proximity—but also tells the story of a historic partner now becoming a visible pillar in this grand adventure. The new logo aims to simultaneously embody the competition's historical depth and modern identity, powerfully showcasing a long-term alliance on every football pitch in France.
